The sheer volume of documents, status updates, and two-way communication that occurs during every LTL trip means it’s vital to manage every step without error. 99.99% accurate is not good enough! Organization-wide Efficiency

Everything from Acordex’s innovative Realtime Scanning technology to the details of our electronic Rendition Billing shows our dedication to getting work done efficiently.

The Acordex web portal allows office users to easily search for and view documents or view them with a single click from outside applications, including your TMS. Our flexible APIs provide access to data and documents from any partner system. Drivers can view scanned documents with a single click from Mobile Dispatch, reducing paperwork in the cab. 

Use Safekeep’s document workflow suite to route documents to your staff, manage their work queues, set alarms for overdue decisions, and allow multiple work sequences in parallel. Automatically export documents to outside parties based on partner carrier code, document type, or other custom rules.

Even your fleet’s fuel usage is improved using Acordex systems. On average, 35% of the operating cost of a trailer-truck is spent on fuel. Trucks consume more than 25 percent of fuel of vehicles in the United States. Worldwide, road freight is responsible for about 6 percent of all greenhouse emissions. Saving fuel offers the irresistible combination of both helping the environment and saving a substantial fraction of power unit operating costs.

Our first imaging system was created to scan insurance claim forms. The system was in continuous use for 10 years, with well over 12 million pages archived and was never down for a full day! We have a truly exceptional record in delivering reliable long-life systems.

In 1995, Acordex’s focus moved from insurance to trucking. Since that time, Acordex has gained a deep knowledge of the needs of common carrier LTL, TL and logistics companies.

In 2005 we began serving state Vital Records departments. Today, trucking and vital records make up all of our new systems business. Serving these two unrelated verticals fulfills our financial stability goal, keeping us healthy through the inevitable economic up and down cycles.

In the following years, three things came together: mobile tablets with serious computing power came on the market, the cost of cellular network data plans started dropping rapidly and new software standards became solidly implemented. Acordex seized this opportunity to create a significant step forward in the communications between drivers and their terminal.

Today, our mobile and imaging software have combined into one, powerful application. It is now easy and efficient for the driver and office to manage all of their information in one application suite: pickup and delivery workflow, photos of BLs and other documents, automatically-extracted data, text communications, geolocation, Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports, mileage capture for IFTA, signature capture, photos of damaged freight or accidents, BL image viewing on-tablet, paperwork and electronic documents scanned at the office or imported from anywhere, productivity data and the latest in ELD compliant driver logs.

Acordex is both a core software developer and a system integrator. This is a significant advantage to all of our customers.

You get true end to end accountability for all aspects of your system. No one else can provide such complete coverage. Most system integrators bundle imaging software and mobility components from other vendors together into a system, but they do not own the core software. If there are any problems or missing features in the core software, all they can do is file a bug report.
