IJL/3 for Panasonic Demo Support
In "Monitor" mode, you can interactively
control the IJL/3 without programming. All you need is a standard ANSI terminal
or a terminal emulator. The following may be helpful in your setup and testing
of your IJL/3.
- The terminal emulator we use internally for the IJL/3 Console is MicroPhone from stf
Technologies. This works on both Mac OS and Windows.
- For IJL/3 demonstrations on Windows, you can download an IJL/3
Console configured for Panasonic scanners. Unzip the file, read the
"Quick Demo Read Me.doc" and then double-click the "Acordex
IJL/3 Console."
- You will need the IJL/3 Developer's Guide
to effectively use the IJL/3 Console. Read just the intro and the section
on Monitor Mode. The Monitor software gives you an interactive "front
panel console" for the IJL/3. The Developer's Guide also includes
details for programmers.
- If you have never installed an imprinter on a Panasonic scanner, you
will will also want to download the Installation
Guide (pdf file).
