TIFF viewing on Linux

Acordex offers a Java application that will view TIFF images on Linux. As an application, this does not view images in the web browser directly. You would have to save the TIFF images (i.e. download the document images) from the web site you're using to your disk. You can then use the Acordex Java application to view images on Linux by opening them.

Serving TIFF images to Linux users

If you have control of or influence over the web server that serves TIFF images, placing the Acordex ViewTIFF for Java applet on your server will enable TIFF viewing by Linux users. ViewTIFF for Java ia an applet that enables viewing, printing and saving of TIFF files and many other image formats from your web site without the need for users to download and install a plug-in.
